Man charged in Raleigh bank robbery

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The Raleigh Police Department has arrested a suspect in a holdup at a Bank of America branch on September 20.

Philip Tameen Janvier, 34, is charged with attempted common law robbery.

Investigators said Janvier came into the bank at Crabtree Boulevard and Capital Boulevard and passed a note to a teller. He fled on foot before getting any money.

Janvier is now in the Wake County Detention Center.
