Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Capital Blvd

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh Police are investigating a crash Sunday that left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

Police said someone driving a car rear-ended a motorcycle just before 7 p.m. on northbound Capital Boulevard and Brentwood Road.

The wreck shut down two lanes of the road Sunday evening.

The motorcyclist was taken to WakeMed.

The crash remains under investigation.
