Flooding continues to be a problem for Central Carolina
RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The National Weather Service issued more flood advisories for several counties Tuesday, as lingering rain continues to drench an already soggy Central North Carolina.
A flood warning in Johnston County has even been extended until Thursday morning.

Flooding in Warren County washed away a huge chunk of Airport Road near Warrenton Tuesday morning, causing two cars to fall into Reedy Creek.
Most of the ABC11 viewing area has been under some type of flood watch, with some areas encountering deep water since Monday.
Flooding continues to block the entrance to a dialysis center in south Raleigh on Durham Road at Gideon Creek Way off Tryon Road. The high water forced Southwest Wake Dialysis to close its doors again on Tuesday.
Around noon Monday, 29 patients were evacuated and the center was forced to cancel all appointments after patients had trouble getting in and out of the center.
It is unclear if Southwest Wake Dialysis will be able to reopen later Tuesday. Patients in need of immediate care are advised to go to the hospital for their treatment.
Meanwhile, a City of Raleigh spokesperson had said that the two vehicles used to clean up and pump out all that water are in the shop. They do not know when those vehicles will be repaired so it may be up to time and nature to clear out that water out.
Workers in the area say this is the third time this area has flooded. There is a clog in a drain that is supposed to prevent flooding. The part of the pipe that is on city property is clear. The city spokesperson said the clogged part is on private property. The business owner of that property has been notified of the issue. The next step to remedy the problem with the business owner is to deliver a notice of violation which would give the owner a set amount of time to fix the problem. If they don't meet the time requirement, which could be up to a month, then the city will step in and unclog the drain. The bill would then be sent to the business owner.
The other part of the problem that the City spokesperson said could also play a role in this is that part of Tryon Road that is collapsed. Once that is repaired and the drain is unclogged, flooding should be less of an issue. There is no timeline yet of when that will happen.
The City could not specify which business is responsible for the drain.

On the roadways Monday, rain made for a messy drive.
On Westbound 264 just after the Hodge Road overpass, an SUV hydroplaned, lost control, hit both the guardrails and then flipped over. One person was taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
However, the evening drive compared to the morning was less eventful. Raleigh police say they responded to more than 50 accidents Monday morning - double the usual amount. Authorities don't know how many were weather related.
A storm system centered along the coast is pumping plenty of moisture into central North Carolina. With the cloud cover and periods of rain, temperatures will be confined to the 70s. Some of the rain, especially east of the Triangle, will be heavy at times into Monday night.
A flash flood warning for Wake County has been extended until 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
While there can still be a lingering shower on Tuesday, the trend will be to dry things out as the storm system exits to the northeast. There will still be a good deal of cloud cover around; however, afternoon temperatures will make a run into the upper 70s.
We get back into the 80s on Wednesday and mid to upper 80s on Thursday ahead of a front. That cold front will cool things down again and bring some wet weather on Friday.
Behind the front, temperatures will be comfortable over the weekend climbing into the upper 70s.
