Burlington man faces sex charges involving minor

BURLINGTON (WTVD) -- Burlington Police have arrested a man who is accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor for the past two years.

On Thursday, police were made aware of allegations against Ernesto Castaneda, 39, of Burlington.

After an investigation, Castaneda was charged with two counts of indecent liberties and two counts of statutory rape of a person who is 15 years of age or younger.

Castaneda is being held in the Alamance County Jail under $100,000 bond.
