PHOTOS: Mothers of Color Conference at Shaw University

The inaugural Hear our Voices: Advocating for Mothers of Color Conference was held Friday at the Shaw University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.

The event allows mothers of color to participate in a one-day experience of forming connections, discussing motherhood and getting information on best practices on topics impacting mothers of color and their children.

Hear Our Voices is designed to help mothers of color tackle the disparities in medical care, education, and work.
