Deputies seek man accused of shooting in Halifax County

SCOTLAND NECK, N.C. (WTVD) -- A victim is in the Halifax Regional Medical Center after being shot early Saturday morning, authorities said.

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office said it happened during a domestic dispute in Scotland Neck.

Deputies are looking for Kinsey Maurice Goode, 33. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Deputies said Goode is known to frequent Roanoke Rapids, Enfield, and the Scotland Neck areas.

The victim's injuries are not life-threatening, according to officials.
