14-year-old shot in Durham

DURHAM -- A 14-year-old girl was shot in the leg in Durham Saturday night.

Officers responded to a call in the 300 block of North Hyde Park Avenue just after 6 p.m.

There they found the girl with a gunshot wound which authorities said did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police said she was not the intended target.
