NC PIRG warns parents of dangerous toys
The North Carolina Public Interest Research Group held a news conference Tuesday.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- As the holiday shopping season gets underway, the group NCPIRG is warning parents about the danger of some toys.

The group affiliated with U.S. PIRG released the annual "Trouble in Toyland" report.

In the report, the group said it found toys that could pose a choking hazard, have toxic components, or create loud noises that could damage hearing.
