Durham's Holt School Road Park gets makeover

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Holt School Road Park has a new look that includes an overhauled playground and an expansion of the interpretive trail.

The work was done by volunteers and with a $20,000 grant through the Build Community Campaign.

Holt School Road Park was one of 15 projects nationwide selected to receive the grant.

The grant was made possible by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and The Walt Disney Company, including Disney Citizenship, Disney|ABC Television Group and ESPN.

Walt Disney is the parent company of ABC11.
