LGBT community celebrates with NC Pride

DURHAM (WTVD) -- On Saturday, September 24, the 32nd Annual North Carolina Pride will take place on Duke University's East Campus.

The Pride Festival runs from 10am to 5pm and will feature merchandise vendors, food, music and speeches. At 1pm the Pride Parade will leave from East Campus and travel down Main St. and around the 9th St. area next to campus.

NC Pride also features a 5K race that will start at 8:30am from Duke East Campus.
