WAKE FOREST, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Cougar Pride was on display Monday morning after a state championship during the weekend for Wake Forest High School football.
Students and Players were still riding high after a big 29-0 win on Saturday over Greensboro Page in the 4AA state championship at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh.
The day at Wake Forest began with a spirit parade and a cheer.
A banner said "It's our year" and indeed it was, as the Cougars finished a perfect 16-0.
Congratulations from ABC11 to the Wake Forest Cougars for bringing a state football championship to Wake County for the first time since 1987.
