2 dead, 2 in critical condition in Fayetteville shooting and knife attack

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people are dead and two others are fighting for their lives following a late-night shooting and knife attack in Fayetteville.

Police say they responded to reports of shots fired around 9:30 p.m. on North Sumac Circle.

When they arrived, police say they found a man and a woman who had been shot.

Both died at the scene.

Police also say another man and woman were also found with stab wounds.

Those two were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the relationship between the four victims is unclear.

There have been no arrests in the case.
