RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a crash near downtown Raleigh that left multiple people injured and involved a suspect connected to a stolen vehicle.
Officers responded at 7:13 a.m. Thursday to a crash at Morgan Street and Snow Avenue.
According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of one of the vehicles, identified as 40-year-old Robert Bradley, was being sought by outside agencies in connection with stealing a vehicle and crashing it on Ten Ten Road.
Police say Bradley then drove into Raleigh and crashed into a vehicle carrying two people. That vehicle struck two parked cars, which were unoccupied.
Chopper 11 flew over the scene, where a black SUV was seen flipped on its side. A gray vehicle with heavy front- and rear-end damage was also towed from the scene. Authorities had the area taped off as the investigation unfolded.
Three people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Bradley has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
Authorities say the North Carolina State Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the original crash on Ten Ten Road.
