SWAT team called to Raleigh apartment complex

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- There was a heavy police presence outside a northeast Raleigh apartment early Friday morning.

Authorities were reportedly trying to make contact with a man inside the Honeytree Apartments on Saint James Church Road, off Capital Boulevard.

A SWAT team was also called to the scene, despite officials calling the incident "non-criminal."

Authorities left the scene shortly before 4:30 a.m. after they said the situation was resolved.

Police said the public was never in danger, but did not release any further details surrounding the incident.
