Scientists says there will be an increase ticks and tick related diseases this summer.

NORTH CAROLINA (WTVD) -- Scientists are predicting that ticks will be particularly bad in 2017 because of North Carolina's mild winter.



They said ticks can carry Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, so North Carolina residents need to be extra careful when they're outside this summer.
