Runners arrive in Cary ahead of Tobacco Road Marathon

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Runners arrived at the Embassy Suites in Cary on Saturday to pick up their packets for Sunday's Allscripts Tobacco Road Marathon and GNC Half-Marathon.
In addition to their runner's packets, athletes scooped up their free t-shirts and other last-minute running supplies before the big race.
Some brave members of the ABC11 team will be running the race on Sunday, including Tisha Powell, Caitlin Knute, Steve Stewart, and Joel Brown.
