'Pose' stars tackle anti-trans violence
WATCH: ABC13's Chauncy Glover spoke with stars of the hit-series 'Pose' as they tackle anti-trans violence.

HOUSTON -- ABC13, our sister station in Houston, presented a one-hour virtual town hall on Thursday, June 25, highlighting the epidemic of fatal violence against Black transgender women and transgender women of color.[br /][br /]Eyewitness News anchor Chauncy Glover explored the sobering statistics behind these deaths, most of whom were Black transgender women, and how community activists and law enforcement are working to dismantle this culture of violence.[br /][br /][facebook URL="https://facebook.com/watch/?v=395696588053400" /][br /][Ads /][br /][b]Panelists for the town hall included:[/b][br /][br /][ul][li]Dominique Jackson, Elektra on FX Network's "Pose"[/li][li]Angelica Ross, Candy on FX Network's "Pose"[/li][li]Hailie Sahar, Lulu on FX Network's "Pose"[/li][li]Elia Chino, founder/executive director of FLAS (Fundacion Latinoamericana De Accion Social)[/li][li]Rev.
