Cumberland County school damaged by vandals

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Vandals trashed a Cumberland County middle school early Wednesday.

It happened at Max Abbott Middle School.

The sheriff's office said two people broke through a window and set off fire extinguishers throughout the school.

Desks, counters, and floors were damaged.

Crews spent Wednesday cleaning up the mess, but the damage did not impact classes.

At last report, no arrests had been made.
