Wake County deputy hurt in crash

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A Wake County deputy was hurt early Friday morning when he lost control of his patrol car in the northeast Raleigh area.

The officer was responding to a call when he crashed along Forestville Road in the Granite Ridge Trail area.

The patrol car was badly damaged, but the deputy just has minor injuries.
