RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Tonight: Mostly cloudy, fog develops late. Low of 56.

Election Day: Foggy start. A mild march to the polls with a mixture of sun and clouds. High of 80.

Wednesday: Still warm with more clouds than sunshine. Watch for showers late. High of 80.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers. High of 77.

Friday: Decreasing clouds. High of 72.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, near normal temps. High of 70.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, few showers. High of 70.

Veterans Day: Mostly cloudy, spotty showers. High of 74.

Tropical Update:

Tropical Storm Rafael has formed in the Caribbean Sea. Rafael is expected to move over/near Jamaica tomorrow as a category 1 hurricane before moving over western Cuba on Tuesday as a category 2 hurricane. Rafael will move into the Gulf of Mexico and transition from a Category 2 to a Tropical Storm from Wednesday into Saturday. It is still unknown if the remnants of Rafael could impact central North Carolina. However, gulf coast states should brace for tropical storm impacts this weekend.
