An officer tried to pull the woman over because she was driving slowly. However, she did not stop and instead turned onto another street and stopped at the end of the road.
Police say Platt then lit a crack pipe as officers approached her car. The woman then allegedly stabbed one of the officer in the hand with a broken piece of the pipe as he tried to take her into custody.
The officer did not suffer serious injury.
