They took a sledgehammer to several walls, a computer and a copy machine. The person also knocked over the altar and busted a piano.
The pastor does not believe the crime was racially motivated.
"I think it was perhaps someone who just has a problem with religion in general and saw an opportunity to come in and desecrate a house of worship and in America we just don't stand for that," offered Pastor Larry Anderson.
Investigators think the person used their hand to break out a window. They found blood smears on the sanctuary's front door.
