According to court documents, the boy told investigators that Hodge asked him to use a cell phone camera to take a picture of her vagina.
It allegedly happened over the Christmas break and the boy reported it to a school social worker in January.
The search warrant in the case said the social worker contacted the boy's guardian about it and she told her that she was trying to teach the child about sex education.
Investigators said Hodge told them the boy happened to see nude photos on her cell phone, but later changed her story to say the child walked in on her while she was taking the photos.
Hodge was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
