According to public information officer Kolly Burritt, someone called 911 around 3:20 a.m. Sunday about a man lying on the side of the road.
Officers located the Blanco on the northbound side of the 5500 block of Ward Boulevard between Washington Street and Carolina Street near U.S. 301. They believe he was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The victim's name will not be released until his family is notified.
