Upon their arrival, deputies found one person shot and the suspect, 50-year-old Albert Lee Harper was arrested at the scene.
Officers say their investigation revealed Harper shot his brother after an argument over a phone call.
The victim was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
Harper is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held under a $75,000 bond and his court date is scheduled for June 6.
