CSB: ConAgra investigation could take year

GARNER The head of The Chemical Safety Board John Bresland said the board's complete report of the investigation could take nine to 12 months to complete.

He said the report would hopefully reveal the true cause of the blast and ways to prevent something like it from happening again.

ATF investigators have said they believed a gas leak caused last week's explosion that killed three employees and injured dozens more.

CSB members were not about to go inside the building where the blast occurred, because the area is still considered unstable.
