Surveillance footage from the hotel showed three suspects rob the hotel's front desk and shoot two clerks.
Police charged 18-year-old Quinton Moye of Snow Hill with one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
He is being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $200,000 bond, and his first court appearance is scheduled for today.
Police arrested the two co-defendants in the case, Jonathan Sinclair and Alysha Williams, on June 16.
