Media exposure too much for suspect

CUMBERLAND COUNTY According to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Calem Madden told investigators he surrendered because he couldn't stand anymore media coverage.

Madden is charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense.

Investigators say he broke into a home on East Hudson Street between the June 21 and June 22. Madden allegedly stole a television, a DVD player, a digital converter box and an assortment of food products.
