Man wanted for Durham shooting

Durham police are looking for a man who is wanted in connection with a shooting Tuesday near Queen and Liberty streets. Johnson, 21, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and carrying a concealed weapon.

Investigators say he and an 18-year-old got into an argument and then Johnson allegedly shot the teen. Police say the two know each other.

The victim, who has not been identified, stumbled into the public library for help just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. He remains hospitalized and his condition is unknown.
