Man attacks teen with machete

RALEIGH Police said Burt Hinkson and another man were armed with machetes when they chased a 16-year-old through a parking lot last month.

Officers said they thought the pair was trying to prevent the victim from testifying in an assault case.

Hinkson is currently out of jail after posting a $10,000 bond.

Authorities are still searching for his accomplice.
