Swine flu vaccine goes quickly

WAKE COUNTY Health officials vaccinated people in priority groups - including pregnant women, health care workers, anyone who works with children younger than six months old, people between the ages of six months and 23 years old and people between 25 and 64 with health issues.

Clinics were offering both the shots and the nose mist while supplies lasted. They had six thousand to give out, and they were gone in hours.

For people who still want one, there are other options.

"We should be third choice for people," Community Health Director Sue Lynn Ledford said."We encourage the physician first, the local pharmacy second and then if you're not able to locate it in those locations, then you should come to the local health department."
