Girl stabbed at high school

FAYETTEVILLE Officials said 16-year-old Teonia Brinson was arguing with 17-year old Robert Wallace over a donut when Wallace stabbed her in the stomach.

Detectives say the pair exchanged words after Wallace refused to sell Brinson one of the donuts.

The girl was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. She was treated and released.

Wallace was charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $2,000 secured --modified to custodial parent. Wallace is not being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
