Officers found the bodies of 65-year-old Suryakant Patel and his wife, 61-year-old Bhavanaben Patel, at America's Best Value Inn Monday. The motel is located along the Highway 70 bypass.
Police say the couple was murdered. The couple worked and lived at the motel.
The SBI is assisting in the investigation.
