The store's alarm alerted police, who arrived just before midnight Wednesday to see smoke pouring from inside.
The blaze was contained to the spa, but smoke went into a few stores next door before the fire was put out.
The extent of the damage is unclear at this time.
Firefighters say it is too earlier to determine a cause of the blaze. It is currently under investigation.
