Investigators say a large pick-up pulled next to Ronald Simpson's truck, then someone inside opened fire hitting Simpson and his son, 17-year-old Ronald Simpson Junior.
The extent of their injuries is not available at this time, but both are currently in the hospital.
Investigators want anyone with information to give them a call.
