A big-rigoverturned on I-85/40 in Alamance County Saturday, blocking at least three southbound traffic lanes. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported the wreck was near mile marker 154, near Mebane.

Investigators tell ABC 11 Eyewitness News the involved big rig is a Mail Carrier of America truck, and that there were injuries as a result of the wreck. They would not say, however, how serious those injuries were.

The tractor-trailer was the only vehicle involved in the accident, which was first reported at 8:08am.

Our crew in the area reported traffic was at a stand-still for miles.
