A Raleigh Police spokesperson said that at approximately 11 p.m. on Nov. 17, a pizza delivery driver was robbed in the 5400 block of Portree Place after making a delivery.
The victim was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects who are believed to have fled in a vehicle following the crime. The suspects were described as black males wearing black jackets and blue jeans.
Within minutes of the robbery, one of the men was seen using a financial card stolen in the robbery to purchase a case of beer at a convenience store in the 3800 block of Carlton Avenue, which is less than three miles from the Portree Place crime scene.
The suspect was riding in a gray late-model Chevrolet Impala four-door sedan at the convenience store.
