Wake schools to charge students for sports, busing?

WAKE COUNTY School Board Member John Tedesco said the board is considering charging parents for their kids to take part in sports, to ride the school bus, or use a parking space as some of the ways the board could raise money.

He says the board is still several steps away from any final decisions, but he says the board will be taking suggestions from the community in an online forum Thursday.
