Police: Man approaching women at Wake Tech

WAKE COUNTY They say the suspect has offered large sums of money for the students to perform sexual acts in the guise of it being a fraternity pledge.

The suspect is described as being approximately 20-years-old and driving a large black pickup.

Officals at the school have sent out an e-mail alert to Wake Tech employees and students. The school has also stepped up security patrols on campus.

The Wake County Sheriff's Department has responded to the reports, but has been unable to determine if a criminal violation has occurred. They are currently investigating the incidents.

However, authorities say the incidents are potentially dangerous. They say if you are approached, leave the area immediately and call 911.
