CHAPEL HILL --
The University of North Carolina announced Thursday that the NCAA has determined that no violation has occurred in the case of fullback Devon Ramsay. According to TarHeelBlue.com, Ramsay is immediately eligible to return to competition.
In November, Ramsay was ruled permanently ineligible by the NCAA.
The NCAA began investigating agent-related benefits and academic misconduct last July.
He had played in the first four games of the season before being withheld from the final nine.
Ramsay is a rising senior from Red Bank, N.J. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
