Three arrested convenience store robbery

HOKE COUNTY Deputies say the clerk, Nasir Husein, was shot at the Zip N Mart on Arabia and Golf Course roads in Raeford late Wednesday night.

Over the weekend, authorities arrested 21-year-old Ryan Evans, 23-year-old Robert Farmer and 23-year-old Cameron Phillips and charged them with attempted murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

A fourth suspect, 28-year-old Harold Evans, was arrested Tuesday.

Husein remains in the hospital in serious condition.
