The Fuquay-Varina Police Department has made two arrests in this week's robbery of the First Federal Savings Bank at 603 North Judd Parkway NE.

The robbery happened Wednesday just before 4:30 p.m.

With the assistance of the Wake County Sheriff's Office, authorities arrested 25-year-old Danitria Dorisell Nickens of Apex at a home in Willow Spring Thursday evening. She is charged with one count of accessory after the fact.

Authorities arrested the second suspect, 21-year-old James Alexander Hayes of Lillington several hours later at his home. He is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators say Nickens drove Hayes away from the robbery.

Both suspects were taken to the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
