Man charged in tire iron assault

RALEIGH Police say Dana Lemon attacked the victim on April 30th, though what provoked the incident is unclear.

Lemon was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

He is being held on a $200,000 secured bond at the Wake County Jail, and is due in court on Monday.
