Raleigh home burns

July 5, 2011 9:40:58 AM PDT
Bad luck has again struck in a Raleigh neighborhood hit hard by tornadoes in April.

Firefighters say they were called to a blaze at a home in the 3500 block of Weir Way around 1:30 a.m.

The family got out safely, but the second floor of their house was gutted by the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The house is near Serendipity Drive, which saw heavy tornado damage April 16.
