Officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle around 4:50 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Orlando Street. Upon arrival, they found the body of 71-year-old August Allen Hosack inside his 1994 dark blue Ford Taurus.
On Tuesday, a medical exam revealed that Hosack was shot once in the leg. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
