The group assembled outside a KFC/Taco Bell restaurant where the 23-year-old was allegedly stabbed to death a few weeks ago.
Police arrested her husband, Kenya Mangum, and charged him with murder. Family members say the couple had a history of domestic violence.
Mangum's siblings say they wanted to remember their sister and help other women before it's too late.
"Any other female that is out there right now that is involved in a violent relationship - or abusive relationship mentally or physically - don't let what happened to my sister happen to ya'll," Mangum's sister, Ashley Magruder said.
"There's a family member gone," Mangum's brother, Robert Magruder added. "She was a big part of my life, and she's up and gone. I just hope there isn't any other woman out there going through anything. They can get some help."
Mangum had four children. Kenya Mangum is in the Durham County Jail.
