Wilson woman killed, husband charged

WILSON, N.C. Police were called to 2821 Herman Drive just after 4:00 p.m. Friday - after receiving word of an unconscious person.

When officers arrived, they found Cynthia Speight, 43, deceased as a result of multiple stab wounds.

Her husband, Mark Speight, 46, was on scene at the time, and was arrested for murder.

He is being held at the Wilson County Jail with no bond.
