The package caused the evacuation of the building that houses the courts, county offices, and the jail.
An Air Force bomb squad robot tore into package and determined it was not a bomb, but Sheriff Carey Winders said Monday the package was made to look like one.
The grainy night video shows a man place the package at the doors of the building around 4:30 a.m.
Anyone with information that will lead to the identification of the suspect is asked to contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at (919) 731-1481 or Wayne County Crimestoppers at (919) 735-2255.
