Fayetteville police need the public's help to identify a suspected bank robber. They've released a series of surveillance photos to help do that.

The robbery happened Nov. 18 around 12:40 p.m. at the RBC Bank in the 2800-block of Village Drive.

At first, the suspect appeared to talk on his phone. He even appeared to fidget while in line while scratching his chin. At another point, he appeared to be texting or reading something on his phone. He eventually stepped up to the teller and handed over a note demanding money.

Police say the man is about 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses and a red and black toboggan.

Police say he drove away in a burgundy four door sedan.

Anyone with information can call (910) 433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
