Sixty firefighters responded and it took them about 40 minutes to get the fire under control.
"I heard some popping noises and smelled some fire but I didn't think anything of it at first because we had the fire going previously. Then, I heard popping noises and I got up from the couch and looked around and the next thing you know the whole porch was engulfed in flames," said Erin Grogan, the girlfriend of a displaced resident.
By the time firefighters arrived, most people had made it out of the building.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
